There is much evidence by neuroscience supporting my arguments here.  However, I do not have the time to go into all the details since it is an immense body of research.  All I can say here is that creating great songs in our heads is no different than how we can articulate the English language.  Your brain absorbs information and, based upon that information, it is able to create with superb skill.

Again, who cares?

I think it should matter to everyone else because as long as you are not tapping into this ability, then you might not be creating songs that are as great as what your true potential could achieve.

I don't care about that either. I write and record music because I enjoy it, I have no need for it to be 'great' or 'as great as' someone else's music.

But there are those types of musicians who are not doing it merely for enjoyment.  They are very serious and wish to convey powerful songs that convey something truly great.  This is the musical audience that my posts are addressing.

I ask again.....how does one convey this to a musical audience?

Since there is no way this person can be some sort of psychic who can telepathically communicate the songs he/she has created in his/her head to any musical audience, then his/her only option left is to learn how to replicate the songs he/she hears in his/her mind into the real world.

Bingo.

So, when are you going to make a start on that then?

As soon as I recover my good feelings back to me again since they are the only experiences that have a real quality of value, worth, joy, beauty, and inspiration in my life.  But in the meantime, I was just sharing these words of inspiration to others.  I was giving others insight into some untapped potential.  Since I need my good feelings to compose and am almost to the point of having them back to me again, then I am simply passing up time and posting here in the meantime.

You have continually used the words great and greatest describing your imaginary "mind music." This is a purely subjective analysis on your part. IMO MJ wrote a handful of of respectable tunes but mostly recorded songs by other writers. IMO the rabid fans of his mostly "pop fluff" hits are more interested in his media persona than the integrity of the songs. His personal conduct was deplorable and certainly not to be lauded on any level. The word "fan" comes from the word "fanatic". As for video game music, I'm sure some of it is respectable although not intended to be appreciated by enlightened audiophiles. However, IMO the myriad of fine musicians and composers that go unmentioned in your "greatest" comments
can stand on their own merits. My views are subjective also but are not browbeaten into the forumites here. lnsread of obloviating, quit posing and begin composing so you will have something concrete to discuss. Otherwise, your "wasted potential" argument is only YOUR " wasted potential."
