i'll let someone else debate what the graph tells you.

Batsbrew - I'm gonna guess at '**** loads of bass and not a lot else'?

well,
edm is outta my wheelhouse...
and maybe it's totally appropriate for a certain genre...
that's why i said i'd sit back and let someone else comment....

as it stands, it only has a DR of 8, so not very dynamic, but maybe it's not supposed to be...

I would be very interested to hear if anyone can interpret the spectrum analysis. It's an area of learning I've not entered yet. To be honest - my intention was to have the bass and kick drive this track. I used sound FX to give the track some spacial awareness.

I have to say, I'm not entirely happy with the LANDR mastering - it emphasizes the top n bottom, but not much in between IMO. But generally, I'm just happy to have a half decent master, as I've never been able to master my songs. One thing that LANDR has been useful for is to use as a reference - it really does show you what is wrong with the mix so that you can go back n fix it. Believe it or not - the bass in this track was actually about 5 or 6 db LOUDER than it is in the final mix.

Well, whatever the mastering process, the track sounds just great. The sound effects do indeed give some spacial awareness and they're pretty freakin' cool to. I don't listen to this genre too very often, but I know a well-executed tune when I hear one, and this is certainly one of those. Ear candy indeed, really well done!
