Interesting about what you said regarding my compression comment. It really did sound squished to my eats, but I can see how that could happen given the material.

Hi Dan! Bass and drums may sound squished due to factory settings of SampleTank, or the way the samples were recorded. I've made a little video, showing used plugins and settings

To sound like Eric Johnson I probably need to learn how battery cells affect the overall tone. But thanks for this comparison, that's inspiring.

Just listened to your Youtube video Alisa and very nice playing/recording/mixing......I also appreciated you showing the plugins that were used. Nice clean/clear mix as well.

I tend to use CA amps, as they are perfectly set-up and tuned for a wide variety of styles and genres. But I've been doing a lot of research and testing on different sounds and plugins and had recently discovered this little gem with huge sound. And it's easy to use, which is always the best part for me in any software.

Wow, great playing! A shredder's touch with a strong melody, a very good combination. A beautiful progression too. Very nice music with a deft hand!
