Hi Kevin, thanks for listening and the very nice comments. Now I'll have to keep playing; )

Hi eph221, thanks for listening, hope this wasn't to obnoxious ; ) Thanks for the recommendation, I used to play in that style, I'm running out of usable fingers so this is the best I can do at the moment.

but, because you have specialized knowledge of the guitar,  you can write for it.  Modern chamber music for guitar is virtually non-existent.  Cheers!

Sorry to hear of your problems. My brother whose a guitarist has had operations for carpal tunnel and has almost given up with the guitar, although not the same I can relate to your frustration.

As for the music the guitar has been beautifully recorded and I could listen to this for hours. What mic did you use to capture it?

Nice little piece.  Wish it was a bit longer.

Hi eph, thanks for the suggestion, I would have to learn to read and write music notation first ; )

Hi Biodiode , thanks for listening, I intent to keep playing until I run out of usable fingers ; )   Glad you like the tone because I didn't use a mic, I plugged my Ovation electric/acoustic straight in,with a bit of eq and compression and reverb.

Hi voda, thanks for listening, glad you find it to short ; )

Very nice work, Rikki. The backing chords are almost identical to those in Gonard's Ave Maria. Is this tune a take-off from that one? Just a guess due to the song title.

There's nothing new under the sun.  All new, original works are isomorphic.  I'm still waiting for post modern music and no, phil glass aint it.  Glass basically built on rothko.  I haven't a clue why he's so successful.

Very nice...    Are both tracks the Ovation?   The lead sounds like one, but the backing part sounds more "round'.     Either way... good stuff!  I can't imagine what you're going through at the moment, but @#$%, this sounds like someone who is comfortably in the zone!
