  • Hardware dsp turns off when stopping sonar

I've got the TC Konnekt 48 w/ a couple of internal dsp slots.  I've been using them in "VST" mode while mixing lately but some of the time the reverb or channel strip will turn off.  The audio will either be killed entirely or maybe just the reverb will go away.  Clicking on the echo input button "turns on" the effect(s).

Anybody running a dsp interface notice anything similiar?  Is there is a setting that might help keep it on in SONAR?  And yea, I've got a thread up at the TC forum.

Thanks for any ideas.  The dsp effects are a step up from most native stuff.  Gosh dern it, it just sounds better but I can't get a solid bounce if they might or might not be on.

Have you tried using a slip-edit to stretch the audio clip out further? That usually does the trick for software plugins, although I don't use any external hardware DSP. If the device is MIDI-controllable, a MIDI note appended to the end of the song might work.

Thanks bit, I'll give that a try.
