There comes a point when you have enough songs at a decent quality to just take it all a step further.
 
After travelling for up to 2 and a half years, backpacking and staying at hostels was a huge part of all that. In Singapore, on the roof balcony of the hostel, myself and another backpacker wrote the bones of a song, essentially taking the piss out of backpackers (and ourselves!). The whole initial conversation to winding up just being long term friends within the space of half an hour!
 
So here its is, the new single and the official video! Our other good member James Yoyo helped out with the production on this.

Looks like it was a fun and interesting adventure. Nice song. Organic and pure sound. I really like your style--like a mix of folk, indie, Celtic... The chorus is catchy and I really appreciate the musical surprises along the way. You keep it consistent with enough spice to keep it interesting. Nice post.

Very good song and video of your backpacking adventures.    You gents did an awesome job on the track production, very good production all around and cool song.  Further, an added benefit to see some of the images that inspired the song integrated into the overall presentation.   Had several views through, love it.

I really liked the somewhat stripped-down nature of this one... nice.    It really shows off your voice, which is a good thing.   Great lyrics and melody over a very natural supporting cast.

Hey Cian -- very well done -- clean impressive recording and artistically the lyric/sentiment was expressed in a heartfelt (and sometimes humorous) way.  Your vocals were very good.  This song has your usual high level of quality.  !!

What a delightful song.  The chorus sounds almost like an anthem for traveling.  The harmonies add to this feeling.
The mix/master is excellent (at least in my book) and your vocals are terrific.  The lyrics make me want to hit the road --- as does the video.  What's not to like?!!!
