Hello Forum ,

I have posted this song many years ago and some of you may remember it from back in the day .

This song is a Soft Jazz Guitar Ballad Dedicated To The Memory Of Guitarist Emily Remler Featuring Ed McGlaughlin on Upright Bass and myself on The Guitar .

I just got done doing a LANDR low conversion to my original song file / mix ...so here we go

Hi Kenny. I hope you're well.
This is really nice - I am sat in my car overlooking lake Ontario listening to this and it's perfect listening!
Great playing and sounds great.

Just beautiful Kenny, I remember this. Wonderful expression, phrasing and tones. So nice to hear Ed McG again, did quite a few collabs with him myself in the past. Do you keep in touch?

Wow.... I really enjoyed that.  Your playing is smooth and clear, and the ambiance you've built around the guitar parts is so nice.    Sounds like an album track to me.

Hi Daryl ,

Yes , I'm well .
I still get a lump in my throat when I think about Emily ..We were very close friends and I loved her .

Thank you for the kind words you have said about my song
I am so pleased that you played my tune while sitting in your car overlooking Lake Ontario ...
Back in the early 90's I had a classic BMW motorcycle a 1975 / 5 .
I rode it up that way from NYC with a friend on his motorcycle . We took our time and toured a full loop of Lake Ontario .
I would love to get back up there someday ..it is a magical place ...

I'm so happy to hear that my song got to make the trip ...

all the best  ,

Absolutely beautiful. Not much more I can say other than recording is great, but it's the feel and expression that is just wonderful. Love it. Great job Kenny.

Hi James,
Ed McG sure was one person I would consider to have been a valuable treasure around here . He was very talented as a musician for sure . Not only would he offer excellent feedback and suggestions , he would also step up to the plate  and invest his own personal time to help a person dial their song in by contributing a Bass Part to die for
I'm sorry to say that I have lost touch with Ed . I have been back in touch with Jayhill  I may ask him , he may know ...
Thank you for listening to my tune James , I appreciated what you had said about it  .

Hi Steve ,

I'm very pleased that something I have played on my guitar has given you enjoyment

You know , this is sort of interesting , I pulled my pedal board out of the closet the other day after a year of non use and to my surprise the clean settings on my board were very close to what I used on this tune ...
It may be a sign or a confirmation to me that I should go into this sonic territory more often ...

all the best ,

I really need to get over here more often and check out some of the amazing talent here.

You did an amazing job on this. I love the "feathery" playing.... so tasty.

That's the kind of song and playing where it could be really easy to listen with cans, and find yourself setting there totally entranced 10 minutes after the music has stopped and only silence remains.
