Wow.... I really loved the way Emily Remler played. She had such an expressive way of playing the guitar unlike any one else I have heard. I wish I had the opportunity to see her perform live. My guitar teacher got me into George Benson when I was about 12 years old and I've been a Jazz junkie ever since. From there I discovered the likes of Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and discovered Emily Remler shortly after. She passed away too young caught up in the "Jazz Life".
On the otherhand, I would go see Bucky Pizzarelli as often as I could. It's incredible that he's still doing it...
My Mom still goes out to see him perform when he does.
