Great job Steve. I am sure you learned a lot about how the Beatles put the song together.
You did great on the drums!
Really good mix. This would have taken me months and I don't think I would have the patience to do it!

Excellent.

Thanks, Jimmy!   I've been listening to The Beatles practically all of my life but never had a reason to dissect one of their songs before.  But yes, I certainly did learn a lot!   Glad you liked the drums, they've always been a standout for me as one of Ringo's best captured moments.

Thanks, Wayne!   Ditto, for me this was always a Beatles song with that something extra, even for them.  But I had no choice, I simply had to do it.   And in hindsight I'm glad I did!

Wow, what a job! I liked it, specially the singing. I saw I was not the only one thinking Pink Floyd at 3:00.
Good solution to the "crazy crescendo" parts, that can't have been easy to do. Missed the first version, but this mix was nicely balanced and executed.

Thanks, Lasse!   I did focus some time on the vocals trying to live up to the originals, so that is appreciated.  As is the Pink Floyd reference.  And for those crescendos... yup, definitely the most time-consuming sections to put together... But in the end they were fun to do!   Regarding the mix, this is definitely better than the first version thanks to suggestions from this forum.

Steve, I admire anyone who tackles a Beatles song in the first place, and a song as iconic as this is especially admirable.  I know this is a piano song primarily, but I would like to hear the acoustic a bit more to give this a little more of an organic sound.  But, that's all I would change, the  rest is magnifique!
