Hey ol pal,

If this is what you create when you drink gin, then I say drink more gin.

I have to say though, I started singing to this song, and I did it in a Chet Baker style, it sounded good too.

shaken, not stirred!

I may actually resing it in a different voice. I think this one is a bit too strident. But thanks!

Hey that was nice , Good story telling and I dig the muted trumpet ..
Is there any significance to the laugh at exactly 4:20 in the tune ? or was that a happy stroke of events ..lol
Yeah , this sort of reminds me of DR John ..I have rapped w him a few times ,  your singing voice sound a lot like his speaking voice ...
I do like the vibe of the tune itself , it is a nice cross between a 60's type of Cool Jazz mixed in with a more modern style of songwriting ...
good job , if you ever need or want a guitar for anything along these lines let me know .

all the best ,

Kenny

Oh yeah...    I think the phrase "oozing vibe" is appropriate for this one.    A small, smokey club in the French Quarter would be a great visual match-up, going along with Kenny's Dr John comparison.

Bye bye...

On second listen it's Dr John'ish. Which is a good thing itself.

You definitely have a thing there. :) I love your songs and I love the sounds you make, all of them have this sweet depth to them that I despair of ever finding in my mixes. Great lyrics, great song, what else to say?
