Just about anywhere in the UK is paradise on Earth!

/Not ...

Thats pretty much what all of England looks like.

Bhav, that looks like Wigan.  But they've swept up a bit since I was last there...

How did Florida even get on this list? Next thing, someone will bring up Texas.

thanks James for the awesome pics of England, makes me want to go and have a pint or two. With Siegfried Farnan if he's about.

Florida just gives me the runs. Sorry, but you may mention the Keys and those look quite nice, if not for the Zika and the humidity and the rampant alcoholism. But the Keys comprise 1/1,000,000 of what Florida is.

Let's see, whom else can I offend here? Yeah, those Girl Scout Cookies are rubbish! Nothing but High Fructose Corn Syrup masquerading as culture.

any of that tea left?

they do suck now,
they are half the size,
don't have half the flavor tho,
more like a quarter of the flavor.
the entire package is like a full 33% smaller.
WTF

they still cost the same.

Just remember in Florida, the further North you go the more South you are.

2 years ago next month, I rented a place in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Private beach, kayaks, snorkeling gear, and the house was beautiful. Flew the kids down and we all had a great vacation. 80 degrees every day. Pretty close to perfect.

Randy brings up a good point on Florida, it's affordable.  For the equivalent monies up north or Hawaii, one can live very well in Florida.

And, yet, you couldn't pay me to live in Florida.

I've never understood the attraction, either.

Well, there is a thing to be said for being surrounded by other transplants and people our age.  I don't want to sound like a curmudgeon, but PDX is way too family friendly for me.  I lived half my life in Florida, had a great 20 years there working in hotels and real estate.  Sunshine every day, BEAUTIFUL turqoise gulf water and white sand beaches.  There are a lot of bugs though. :D:D  Best thing about it for me, was its proximity to latin amerika.  I didn't go there, but we had a tremendous bunch of classical guitarists throughout Florida from South Amerika.  FSU alone has one of the best programs in the country under Bruce Holzman  (Adam, his brother is the guru at Uof T Austin).  I was surrounded by great music:  reggae, classical, jazz (not as much) and other genre's.
