Mystery Science Theater 3000 is reborn - to be available as streaming-only on Netflix starting 4/14.  Apparently it is back courtesy of a record-breaking crowd-funding effort (hope all those contributors get a few free months of Netflix for their generosity).  Happy days are here again!

I like that show ...in my area I get it on weekends as a local broadcast show
I would love to get a template of the audience guys sitting there on the bottom of the screen moving around and talking smack 
I would use that for all my u tube videos

I tried to get into MST3000 about a week ago, and couldn't. It might have something to do with my recent marijuana-reduction resolution, but the whole concept just seemed dumb to me. 
 
BTW, if you like MST you should check out "Cancelled by Netflix". I turned on NF Friday night after my gig, forgetting it was April 1st, and saw a new category: Cancelled by Netflix, with one entry of the same title. Clearly designed for stoners, it features 3 minutes watching a microwave cook a burrito, followed by an equally exciting session with a toaster.

It depends on which installment you watched.  Some of them were pretty bland - you could go for 15 or 20 minutes with nothing all that funny happening (but usually a zinger would come totally out of the blue that would have you in hysterics).  Others were chock full of hilarity.  There's also another factor - this whole concept grows on you, I think.  As you get to know Tom and Crow (and they have distinct personalities - they are far more than just robotic mechanisms through which jokes are delivered), I think you gradually start to think of the whole crew as old friends.
 
And, yes, this is the type of humor that a bit of a buzz will only enhance.

I haven't looked into it to be honest ..I happen to feel if I used theirs it would be a rip off ...
If I made my own ..that would be a different story ...
I'm a Space Cadet . I can handle getting roasted by a fictitious group of video audience members from the bottom of the screen talking smack at me in one of my own u tube vids ..
