Friends,

3 impulse IR waves to try out for convolution reverb.

I went nuts collecting impulse IR’s for convolution for a long time. Gigs of wave files with every vintage hardware and natural environment available.

Trouble at least with my hearing is that everything sounds about the same and I can delete a couple thousand impulses and not miss anything.

Couple of these I’d posted before but thought to reoffer them with a new IR included. Point of these is to do something different.

One is historic from the Scotland underground WWII fuel tank, claimed to be the longest natural reverb space in the world. Think I cut it off at 35 seconds or so. Can achieve the sound with an analog unit, but this is the real thing.

Mangled is an airy cathedral IR destroyed with eq, flange, time stretch.

Reverse is an inspiration after playing with a reversed Peavey reverb. Took a cathedral clip, reversed it and then tagged the forward wave on the ending reverse peak to let it fall off again instead of just stopping like most reverses do.

Not a Lexicon, but adds some variety.

I've never seen a small IR library.

EchoThief has some very interesting IR's recorded in odd locations. You can do some very interesting things with them because of the oddball reverbs.

Thanks Terra...

Jeez, there I go chasing IR's again.
The download file I posted is small because only 3 files in it, but definitely not your father's IR collection.
