I came across this by accident on YouTube. I have seen a lot of performances by the bands from the '60s but this one is totally new to me. Whether you experienced this period, or just wish a glimpse of that period, this concert is great. It is live, sound is excellent (for the time), and includes about every British act hitting the charts around 1965. Pretty amazing concert.

I saw that some time ago - my how the kinks sucked vocally.
My how almost supernaturally better than everyone else in all ways were the mop tops.

I'd really like to know something about PA and other sound systems used. I've often thought it would have been a great treat if Sir Paul or any other of the big ones of that time had performed something using a sound system from the early sixties in their modern stadium concerts.

Except for the songs, obviously,  it's the charisma of the whole bunch and Pauls and Johns vocals that really lift the Beatles above the others. Many good ones there, though, like the Seekers. I'd like to know how well the performers
could monitor themselves. Looking at how far from the mics they're singing in many cases, the stage volume must have been quite moderate.
