Hi. Finally I managed to make a whole tune for a long time with Sonar. I would welcome some comments and tips on this tune.

Great melodies again. Very uplifting but in a calm way. Mix wise is does sound small, narrow and too contained. it needs some brightness to the sonics, it's under a blanket at the moment. listening through cans btw.

Your melodies work well here. I found the drums to be sterile and the song lacks dynamics...kind of flat-lined if you know what I mean. Some variations of levels and more realistic drums would bring this to a new level.

Thank you for your comment and I agree. The drums are just simple samples and should be replaced with better ones or with SI Drum synth. Also it would sound better with some levels changing. All this can be done by me I think so when I get to one of my computers I will try these tricks.

I actually do hear a bit more variation in the drums than in some previous tunes, but the actual sound itself is (as Gus said) "under a blanket".    I think the SI Drum synth would be a good place to start since you already have it, perhaps by layering with the existing drum samples for more "presence".   But the synths are, as usual, the focal point and work nicely.   Brighten up that mix and they'll shine even more!

Drums (sound) is dull.
Song could use for some dynamics.
Bass could do with some attck and maybe some"riffs" with the drum fills.
