The multidock needs to be resized to view the options on the Welcome Window popup.

There's some "don't show this again" option somewhere. Not at the computer now but will be booting Sonar later, if there's no answer by then I'll provide one. It's probably worth watching the video, though.

I've been watching videos about Melodyne before I even attempt it.   :)
I've looked for a "don't show this again" option, and I can't find one.

Thanks!
Greg

At the bottom of the popup is a check box "Show this window when Melodyne opens".

Hmm I tried to use Editor to fix a guitar part that was recorded with a couple of the strings slightly out of tune. It did this weird smeary thing with the transients.

The trick is not to pitch shift the transient sounds. Ever.
Just separate them after every "t", "s" etc. in vocals (with a double click above the blob) and do the magic on what's left.
Same trick apply with transient guitars. Don't touch the transient part.

Best Regards
Ludvig

Splitting non-pitch transient data first and leaving it otherwise untouched (pitch-wise) is a good way to improve results.
