Hey

Late reply to this thread, but also have lot of issues with SEM V, Wurlitzer V, Analog Lab in Windows 8.1 64 bit...

Some follow up questions:
- Do you just delete the VST 3 or skip them when installing? (Rather not re-install if I don't have too;)
- Why haven't there been an update for this problems yet? Arturia has released updates for their products, and Cakewalk and Arturia notised this in October 2013.... ???

Yup the main benefit with VST3 as far as I'm aware is that when the plugin isn't being used CPU isn't being used up unlike VST2. It's more efficient.

True, but it has to be implemented in the plug-in, and the implementation has to be recognized by the host. Unfortunately this is by no means universal. Manufacturers can choose to implement a subset of the VST3 spec.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, skipping the VST3 versions. It was pretty painless.
