...I've had no reliability issues with any version - minus a few driver bugs from time to time.

I also run X3e on a Win 8.1 machine (i7 w/ 32GB RAM) and have zero stability problems with wireless enabled.  Never even been a thought to turn it off when tracking and I've done a couple 20+ channel projects with lots of plugs pushing around 75-80% CPU.  I run SSD drives as well.  One for the OS and then Sonar is installed on another and finally another SSD where the music is getting saved.  I have a larger SAS drive that I use for general storage, etc...

Seems to work great for me...

Thanks for the Responses.
For the record, I located the "Sonar Tweaks" thread posted by Jose7822 (BTW what ever happened to him?)  Turned off several things on my lappy such as indexing, also made changes to the power management settings and my antivirus and left the system running overnight and VIOLA!  No glitches or hiccups whatsoever.  So I gave her a spin this morning at Church and no issues to report.  Sonar X3e, MOTU 896 running WDM drivers, 192 samples @ 4ms.  Very pleased!!!  BTW, that was with the Network card still enabled.

Wooo Hooo!!
