Ok downloading Midi ox but my DAW is 64 bit W7....i will try to solve tomorrow couse is too late here.
Thanks in advance.

It's a 32-bit program but it's working with my Windows 7 64-bit system.

It does seem strange that Sonar could sync to everything I tried except Traktor.

I can sync Traktor to Sonar and start both of them simultaneously from MIDI-Ox. Are those not satisfactory solutions?

Also, have you contacted NI? Since I can sync Sonar to Acid, Cubase, MIDI-Ox, and Live, it's clear Sonar can sync to other programs.

My partner will do it very soon couse he's the owner of Traktor S4 license.
I will inform you on Native Instruments replay.

Make sure you are on X3E and run NI service centre.

BTW problem reporter is there only for reproducible bugs with Sonar (they will probably close your issue without a response)/you should contact NI I suggest first. Or Cakewalk support if you think really that's a better option (not through problem reporter) although really this should be in NI's lap cake shouldn't have to support everybody else's product first time around.

Chances are you may find solutions in NI forums and YouTube.

Cheers

I'm tired of PM and there's a summary of Native Instruments replay.

have you made sure that you created one mapping in Traktor that uses the MIDI port
as 'out port' where you want to send the MIDI clock to?

Cause otherwise indeed nothing will be sent.

I cant speak about possible problems on the Sonar side, but you can see all
details regarding making Traktor sending the clock in these articles:

http://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/knowledge-base/show/1137/how-to-synchronize-traktor-and-ableton-live/

I have reflected and there is a strange thing......Sonar doesn't have the MIDI IN options in Sync TAB!

All the Sonar Midi clock options are to send the midi message.

Only in the Sync tab there is a receive midi option but is not clear where i must send the start message.

In Live is a very clear procedure.....in midi sync tab there are midi in and out ports and i can decide where send the Traktor midi clock message (LoopBe in port).

If so technical support will have to think to improve this aspect of Sonar because in modern music live is increasingly common to use daw in sync with the live musicians.
It would be a shame not to use the Sonar's powerful synths in a live show.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance
