Another option that some are really high on and comparing favorably to this and is $29 is the new omega transformer 458a preamp from Kush audio. I have yet to demo but I will soon.
Kush Audio does have some tempting offerings but I've always been reluctant to install iLok on my computer. I did pull the trigger on the Black Box. The February pricing plus a $25 voucher they sent me made it too tempting. This will have a permanent spot in my mastering chain!
