I opened a older project to add a vocal track. I was hearing a strange a echo and found out I was hearing my mic without any input open to any track. Then none of my Waves plugins would open, no GUI. I closed the project and now I get this message(sonarpdr.exe)  and crash.

Anybody know what that means?

sonarpdr.exe is actually Sonar. Sonar crashed.

Please update to the latest Waves plugins, Sonar X3D, then perform a VST reset (reset and rescan).
You might want to check out the latest drivers and firmware for your audio interface and run Windows update as well.
Any issues after that please post here.

Hey CakeAlex,  Waves plugins were just installed recently and are not in the project. I had a problem loading them and then deleted them. My interface is up to date with the drivers. I also have X3D installed. I don't have problems with any other project. This seems kind of random. I'll try the Windows update and see what happens.

Also please reset and rescan your plugins if you didn't do this after installing X3D (please check link previous post).
Reset is important but remember you can lose settings.

If it's project specific you could try backing up the project, bundling the project up, opening the bundle and saving as a project again.

CakeAlex, How do I reset my plugins? I see the rescan but not reset.

Well the rescan didn't do it. But something I should have done anyway. I'll have to try support tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Well I have more ideas for you...

If it's project specific you could try backing up the project, bundling the project up, opening the bundle and saving as a project again.

And another thing, so you have a saffire. Are you sure what you are hearing isn't coming out of the Mix Control software and away from Sonar. I assume you are running 3.3.

And please check the Windows event viewer for specific clues to your crash (find the SONARPDR.EXE Crash, right click the red icon, Copy -> Copy Details as Text, paste here).

Thanks..
