Unfortunately, Conrad (Connie) came onboard with X3, so does not have V-Vocal. I am also hesitant to recommend things too detailed without seeing what he is doing.

Conrad, if you still come into snags and are willing to share your project (another option to get quicker help)...

1) Make sure you are using "Use Per-Project Audio Folders" (Preferences->File->Audio Data) if not already.
2) You can do a "save as" then create a new folder, drill into that new folder, and make sure "Copy all audio with project" is checked on the save dialog, then "Save." This will copy only the audio necessary to make the project "complete" for sharing, so may make it significantly smaller depending on what edits you have done already.
3) If you zip what is in that folder (project file and Audio subfolder), you can post it on your website.

Just something to keep in mind. I realize the aggressive schedule you have created for yourself, and even looking up things in references can be hit or miss unless you know the term you are looking for.

...If you need to get them into a different track, shift+drag them, which maintains their start point.

Or alternatively: select the clip, then use the 8 and 2 keys on the number keypad to move the clip up and down across tracks. This is probably the safest way to move a clip without risk of accidentally changing its position along the timeline.
