For the moment, i'll just be testing with "flat".
 
i'll try to redo the measurements again over the weekend and perhaps if time permits do a test preview of the RT60 times using REW; from there we would be able to get a better picture of the situation. according to another forum, some fellas have gotten some seriously amazing results...

for now, its back to the old ways without even having ARC on the Master Bus....

I'd read as much as I could stand on this subject on the above forum.  I wouldn't say there is any kind of concensus as to the benefits of ARC.
 
Your boost at 70 hz can't be happening everywhere, and since it's a room mode your speaker placement won't affect it much.  On the other hand, where you put your head will have an enormous effect.  Have you tried moving that around ?
