This is a server side error and consequently changing browser will not help. You've probably been lucky enough to post at the right times :)

Ah, thanks, Alex.   So my impeccable timing comment above was perhaps on point.

I RARELY have issue posting - don't know why others do.

It makes me happy that it does not fail very often for me, and sad that it does for some.

Bob, I wonder if it's an EST time zone thing...

I use IE and chrome.  EDT here in Michigan.

Was trying to post in a different thread when I started uttering short words very loud. So, I tried to create this thread. Took four attempts. And then tested again thinking maybe it was a temporary issue. Did not get to post to the other thread.

AND:::

After I was sucked through the one-logon hole I attempted to create another forum account. I think I got 4 now with different addresses.  Weird errors, denials, confirmations,...
I am able log in with two but cannot post. Fiasco!

I did not want my forum account tied to my store account. Did not understand it would happen by just a couple of clicks and no clear opt out option.  Very unhappy about this demotion of privacy caused by the CW managers. Now if the forum gets hacked my store info could be at risk.

I get it all the time in the morning in the Netherlands, I guess centering around 3am Eastern for you Americans.

I wonder if clearing out cookies might help fix things  - I have used this account for years, and only once in a GREAT while do weird things happen where posts don't seem to 'take' or there are failure messages.

Just a thought,

Not for me, it's on different browsers and computers.

I do recall getting errors in the wee hours of Eastern Time in the States, so that makes sense to me that there may well be some sort of server maintenance and such taking place in that time frame.

Lots of international companies seem to forget some aspects of there being folks on the other side of the 'Big Pond', and this might be one of them.  (meaning the forum software folks, and not necessarily the Cakewalk folks).

Won't work definately a server side error. ASP Playground gives out the error and Cakewalk should be able to see the error log at their end. Often happens around 6 to 8am GMT. It makes me wonder if a backup job is getting in the way or perhaps spambots are attempting to spam the forums around this time (I remember our black magic guy was active around this time).

Cheers..
