Mix is inoffensive. Although I'm only listening to it on laptop speakers. But that's good because it's coming through clean. Drums sound a bit boxy, maybe use an EQ at 400hz to clean this up.
Without a chord chart it's hard to tell you to change a chord sequence. But for me, there is nothing like using maj minor, to create some interest and difference. I think that's what's missing for me the most, and what I've been trying to tell you. Here use this
http://www.guitar-chords.org.uk/chords-key-f-sharp-minor.html it's Roman Numeral Analysis and it tells you what chords you can use in any giving key. Normally it's 1, 3, 5...but to really shock people when you're about to go into the first section at the very end of piece...try the seventh.
I'm sorry if you already know music theory. The modulation near the end was cool. That's more like what I've been talking about.
