Really cool...   I love your harder stuff, but I have to say this one has a distinctive feel that works equally as well.  I too was expecting percussion of some kind, but nah, it stands on its own IMO.    Between those low acoustic notes and the occasional "rattle" it's a lonely desert road for you... 

Nice slide and acoustic work Bat.   The slide has a Joe Walsh/Eagles color to it.   Very good stuff.

i originally worked this up as a full band deal...
and it just didn't work.
it was always meant to be a sort of heavy folk tune...
the mix DOES work well thru the cans, doesn't it?
i don't think i ever even listened to it thru headphones when i was mixing it....
and because of that, i think i'll have to spend some time studying the original - it IS slated for a new mix for a 're-release'
