No issues with Alicia's Keys... used it on several songs since it's release in SPLAT.

I've been holding out for Freddie Mercury's Fazioli and the C. Bechstein Digital but the VI Labs 71% off bundle deal really looks interesting, especially as it'll play within Falcon and thus allow for amazing layerings/synthizing/modulations.  Three wonder pianos for $99 is hard to resist!
 
Fleer, as you have both Fazioli's does the much smaller footprinted VI Faz hold a candle to Mercury's?
Same for the Bech?
 
Probably unfair to compare 2 high end/priced to the VI Labs offering but ya never know till ya ask and Fleer's da expert!

You're right, both the Wavesfactory Mercury and Bechstein Digital Grand are in a different league. As for the Mercury, playing that "Freddie-like" sounding grand with those Metropolis EMT-verbs is, well, quite nice. And the Bechstein is, I believe, the best Bechstein you can find in a VI, quite similar to playing a real one, plus lots of tweaking capabilities you'll never find elsewhere.
BUT, that VI Labs sale is totally worth it, three wonderfully playable grands for $99.
I had been waiting for them to go on sale, as they normally wouldn't move much in price. So, $99 is a no-Weiner if there ever was one. Very happy with them. And you're getting one of the best American D (Steinway) grands out there. Plus those Bechstein and Fazioli flavors. And there's Una Corda to boot!
Finally, sure wish I had Falcon myself. Reminds me of those 1200 Keyscape Creative patches we got for free to use Keyscape in Omnisphere with.

Oh, you make it soooo hard to resist this then... hmmm... gotta see if it says how long the killer deal is for.  Then again, I know I really want the Merc/Bech combo; have so many pianos already! Still not sold on Keyscape as many of it's goodies are irrelevant to me, but yea, that's the idea...
 
House still not on the market... perpetual rains in the bay area and frequent extended slogs thru the extreme snow to help my ailing mom in coeur d'alene have slowed things down.  On the other hand, nov/jan is the worst time to sell and if the country stays together, I'll do pretty good when it hits the market in the next three or four weeks. Bay area market is moving up again.

I just love that sound...The others are great, mind you but I have peculiar ears... Regardless, I would say this bundle is the best deal ever for someone looking for pianos...I mean, 99 bucks!!!

Since I have dozens of expensive pianos already, I'm resisting by immersing myself in Mercury's website... I think the Fazioli... that 12 foot monster... has the sound I've always dreamed of... it's got the Yamy sparkle with the depth of... well... nothing I've ever heard of before... and to think I'd be playing on Freddie's piano... oh my!
