Thanks once again to Cakewalk for making the keyboard a minefield of arcane shortcuts so accidentally touching a key will screw things up beyond repair.  I touched a key—I don't know which one—and ended up with the mess in this picture:

The Inspector is normal in the top half, but the bottom half looks like the track view.  And the tabs on the Inspector don't work.  (The browser was also in the wrong place and on the wrong tab but I fixed that.)

How do I get back to a normal Inspector docked on the left, browser on the right, and track view in the middle?

I am unaware of any keyboard combination that can generate the result in the screen capture. IOW, there is no way by design to move the track view inside the Inspector. This is a bug. Does the docking options menu work in the Inspector? If so, to clean up I would try to undock the Inspector, close the new Inspector window, save the project, restart SONAR, enable the Inspector and drag it back to the left side of SONAR to dock it again.

It is possible to re-assign many of the shortcuts to "Do Nothing" to prevent accidents.

X3E? Though I'd seen this in older versions of Sonar.

The photo seems to be unavailable, at least from where I'm sat.

Likewise

Konradh, have you simply tried switching to a different screenset & back again?

I also cannot view, but Jonesey's advice is worth a try.

Sorry about the picture.  I had no where to put it but on my Facebook page and it was confusing my followers.  Thanks and I apologize for the trouble.

I had to revert to a previous version of the project.

What the picture showed was the Inpsector on the left, but with the bottom half being a a copy of part of the track view.  The Inpsector tabs did nothing so I couldnt go to Pro Channel.  If I closed and reopend Inpsector I got the same mess.

Thanks, CakeAlexS.  I will use that.

By the way, going to another screenset did not solve the problem.  The Inspector is still messed up and that project file is corrupted.
