I like many of you have an issue, and tend to be a bit or a lot ADD. I do some tracking and then mix a bit to see what it might sound like and then want to do some more tracking and so on. The issue with this is after mixing and adding a bunch of plugins I am no longer able to monitor though sonar without a large amount of latency, due to the plugins. I can remove the plugins and all is well again but I then lose what I did.
Is there a simple way to completely disable a plugin without removing it from the project? Or is there some other quick work around that can satisfy my ADD, without deleting what I did with my plugins?

Thanx in advanx

Try freezing synths and/or tracks. However if this is the mixing phase of the project, mixing latency would not matter increase the setting.

You can click the "FX" button on the Mix module in the Control Bar to quickly bypass all plugins.

The Global Bypass feature exists just for this situation. One keystroke temporarily disables all plugins.

Thank you,
Bitflipper, what is this Global bypass. I have not heard of this before. What is the keystroke?

Either press the "FX" button in the control panel, or press "E" on your QWERTY keyboard.
