James : I came across this tune only recently. Now that I have the CD, I keep replaying track 1 repeatedly. The rest of the CD sounds pretty good, but LAJADASm's is so good that I keep replaying it. An ear-worm for sure. (I am trying to figure out how the bassist sounds like he is quoting TakeFive in 3/4. Oh well, one day I will learn to count...)
The other one that I keep going back to is 'Basil', such a cool piece of writing.

That is great song! MK is a master storyteller for sure. Its astonishing that after 40 years Mr. Knoffler is still able to write songs of this high quality. If anything, he has actually gotten better. I have several of his other solo albums and there are plenty of gems on them.
