Yeah, I think it is an improvement over the first version.   There is a lot going on, and it's not always easy to balance things.    I would try what Jim suggested though and just try randomly muting supporting tracks at various to see if you like it.     Oh, and the DP sax does sound better.

Yes - I am thinking seriously about doing some testing with a sparser mix. Thanks for the comment.

Great stuff. The mix is smothered by your lead vocal that has way too much body, that it throws it out of space with the very thing else. The bgvox sound spot on. I would think about doing a HPF up to about 300hz with a nice slope and then maybe a 2DB cut at 550 hz or so on th lead vocal.

Nice song and performances. I think the mix sounds kind of mono and that the vocals among other things could stand to be spread out a bit.
