On tracking & playback once the song get to around measure 30 or so all the tracks begin to fall out of sync. Anyone else experience this and have any suggested solutions?

Which version of sonar are you running?there was a known issue with timing in earlier versions.

In "preferences" what is listed as the record and playback timing masters?
I'm guessing its the ff800; are both (playback/record) set to the same thing?

What is the sampling rate for both SONAR and the interface?

You're thinking he's got one at 48k and the other at 44.1k.
Check that.
Trying "syncing" to chan 1, not to the ADAT.

I'd suggest also checking View Tempo. Bring up the Tempo window and watch the line around measure 30. If it has a jag in the line around there, select the eraser tool and erase the jag. You might have not realized you added a tempo change. It can happen, so just offering that as something to check for.

I've had this happen on occasion. I've never been able to figure out a cause. I just  get around it by scraping the project and starting a new one. Every time it's happened -not too often, it always seems to be when I'm starting a new project and have a couple of tracks down and for some reason the first track I record - usually rhythm guitar, will not stay in time with the MIDI drum track on playback.
