I do the same thing as Sharke with backing vocals. Interesting to hear about VintageVerb, by the way, I do have ValhallaRoom but have switched back to BReverb, it sounds more open to me. Or maybe I just work it better. I use ValhallaRoom for fx. Is VintageVerb very different?
I use ValhallaRoom for fx reverbs as well. The vintage verb is quite different, very open and smooth sounding, and for each preset you can set it to "70's," "80's" and "Now" for a different flavor. I think it's a beautiful reverb. I was very happy with ValhallaRoom but I'm glad I bought VintageVerb as well, it's a great alternative and like I said, exquisite on vocals. Give the demo a try.
