Without a doubt, my StudioCat computer.  Screams, compared to what it replaced and has been rock solid with X3e, and my video programs even like it too.

Finally got a decent headphone amp which enables me to give different band members custom headphone mixes when tracking.

SSDs - now that I have them and have experienced them, I would never go back to regular hard drives.

You should get some acoustic treatment for that scream.

On topic, I got 4 walls spaced farther apart from each other.

Install a liquid cooling system onto my CPU.....at this new location, the room acoustics really brought out the computer fan noise once sonar was working away.

Once the liquid cooling system was installed the annoying fan noise is reduced significantly.

Actually, StudioCat put the computer guts in a decent case, that does just that.  My power supply for the mixer and noise from the other rooms, are always much louder than the computer.

#1 FW-1884 control surface, not a recent purchase, but man I love it.
Recent, SSD for the sample libraries, much more "instant gratification".
