Hello all!
The hardware guide on the Cakewalk site shows a setup guide for this configuration but the link doesn't go to it.  I've used Cakewalk products for over 20 years now but I am stumped by this setup. I'm trying to use 9600 sample with 24 bit depth but no mater what configuration I try it always says the MOTU is unavailable.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

First install the latest 64bit drivers and then run the wave profiler and set up the MOTU in Sonar.
I'm assuming you researched and this card has valid 64bit drivers.

Also, if the project is not recorded in 96kHz orgianlly, you cannot play it back in 96khZ. Sonar projects are locked to the sample rate they where recorded in. you would have to export every single track individually to 96kHz and then import them into a new project for it top play at 96kHz

Before you do anything:

Install the latest drivers (download the universal audio installer).
Download the user guide below that (appears there is no firmware update).

Thank you all for your responses.  I had already done all the current updates etc. but Sonar wouldn't see any input signal.  I figured out a little bit ago that MOTU's CueMix MUST be open to use the MOTU with Sonar.  This is new.  I've recorded with that 24 I/O for the past 7 years of Cakewalk/Sonar versions and never needed the CueMix console open.  I don't know if that's the proper method but at least I'm back up and recording.

Thanks again!
Daniel.
