Do you have the TTS-1 or V-Vocal included in the projects where Melodyne crashes?

For me Craig. Just AD2 and audio tracks, no VV. I've used Melodyne numerous times in other projects for pitch correction and timing, with no problems. Even doing entire tracks. Not a single crash.

But in my present projects, only doing timing adjustments, and only using the melodic algorithm. It simply will not work without crashing, unless I do say 5 second clips only, and bounce to clip, save, and then proceed to the next 5 second clip. Even then, the occasional crash.

As someone else said. It's like it creeps up on you, then "pow, you had your turn my friend, move along"...

If you folks having the problems could share the projects and dump files that would be great.
When it crashes does it report whether the crash is in SONAR or melodyne?
If you send the dumps I can also verify this and forward them to Celemony if necessary.
If you have bug numbers for your submission, please list them here for reference since its much easier for me to locate that way.

I have experienced crashes on loading a project with melodyne in too. Usually loads and works fine on the second or third attempt. On the few times I tried to send the crash log to cakewalk ,  it wouldn't work so I gave up. The error message did state that melodyne was the cause of the crash though. It hasn't happened on any other projects so far so I'm assuming that it's project specific for whatever reason. No v vocal or tts-1 used

I have also had massive problems over the last 3 days, all involving melodyne, and all relating to timing changes.

I've also had timing related issues with melodyne. But I'm not sure this happened with the current versions of the software. I'll experimented a bit with it and see if the issues remain.

I'm visiting friends for a few days. Will send you the projects (or one of them at least) next week. :)

It appears that something is amiss with Melodyne and SONAR... I am using Melodyne Editor (full version) as a region FX and occasionally it HARD CRASHES SONAR... and then when I re open the project, Melodyne essentials loads instead of Editor and the only way for me to get Editor back is to do a system reboot.

This doesn't happen all the time and so far I can not recreate on demand... it appears random to me.

Just piling on for the BAKERS (don't throw a flag).

Jim

PS - And I do have the latest version of Melodyne.
