Hi Bob,
I'd just finished making a list of all my program locations before I came to the realisation of my previous post. I may have rushed into posting, thinking I'd found the problem. The following is the list I made before I wrote my previous post:
Both my Contents Folder and Multisamples Folder in the Registry Editor are set to C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro, the same as yours.
In that folder, I see the following:
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples\01 - Grand Piano
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples\02 - Drums
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples\03 - Organs
etc., the same as you.
In the folder C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\70 - Drum Loops, which, I believe, contains the Expansion Pack 2 files that won't play on my computer, I see the following files:
[ loop slices ] folder
dl_80_k01_lp02.sfz to dl_100_k07_lp04.sfz
hh_bonusbeats_80_07.sfz to hh_bonusbeats_110_15.sfz
hh_kit01_80_atmos.sfz to hhkit10_90_loop04.sfz
jw_100's
pc_80_fxmix2.sfz to pc_110_fingercymbals.sfz
---
As I said in the OP, I haven't moved any files around, and I installed everything to the default location. I think I'm just going to try and re-install Dim Pro and the Expansion Packs and see what happens. Can you confirm that all the files from your 70 - Drum Loops folder appear in the Dim Pro program and that they all play okay? I appreciate your help with this, Bob.
