Sonar X3 e Producer is the current version. It is different from what you remember but it wont take you long to bring yourself up to speed. You will need to do some research and get a Sonar X3 Power book for it to help with the transition. Of course you have this forum.

...I'm ready to start back making music. Last version of sonar that I have is 6.



There are still a few users happily running Sonar 6PE.  Apparently it works fine on a Windows 7 platform.
