That stuff is getting pretty old. IIRC Dyad was a 32 bit DXI so it won't run in 64 bit Sonar, there may be a solution using a wrapper but it will be messy. Your post reminded me I have it somewhere but have not had it installed since going 64 bit way back when Sonar 8.5 was released. It may be worth recovering the Soundfonts to see if there is anything I might find useful.
sfz+ should work, (as scook said, try running Sonar as administrator) but I have found it to be temperamental, did you install it or just copy the ddl. I recommend running the install and making sure you are installing a VSTi not a DXi
If I use Soundfonts these days I play them in Kontakt.
