The old irish folk rock band, corneryboy, I used to be in wrote this song and I found the lyric sheet the otherday, I liked it and so I decided to rearrange it and make it more symphonic. Let me know how it hits you. arrangement, instrument and mix wise.

Really like this Cian, excellent arranging. One of your best vocals IMHO, very good indeed, BGV's too. I like the use of the martial snare, that works a treat, it really lifts the chorus. Top job.

Nice majestic arrangement, Cian! I liked musically what you did, and great singing as usual. Beautiful ending with soloing the high pitched vocal like that. Usually when there is timpani and snare in an orchestra there is a whole string section to match that. I liked the solo cello and pizzicato parts but maybe you can mix it with full strings or put it in at the end? Otherwise, great arr and orchestration.

Oh yea thanks, I should change the single violin patch at end to full strings. Good call
