Hello, I seem to be getting a huge "spike" when using AD2? About 70% or more of the CPU level would be constant and this is on it's own before any other tracks have been added (from Sonar X3 producer, CPU monitor top right of control panel). The Original Addictive Drums had no problems, even with as much as 100-200 tracks, with a lot of plug-ins the CPU would never reach 1/2 of it's potential. Just a little concern because I don't want to be held up because of utilities.

I have tried and adjusted all of the XLN & Sonar parameters (baud rate, samples, ASIO etc.) and no luck?
If anyone else has had similar concerns and had a solution, could you please post? I've read from other forums (Gear Sluts, PC forum and others) trying to find an answer, also emailed XLN. "Thanks"

Mike.

Did you come up with a solution? I have the exact same problems as you describe.
I've done the same as you, tweaking every possible thing to tweak...
Cheers!

There are a couple of recent updates that may help. Run your xln audio installer. The lastest version is 2.0.2.

Sounds like this software may be a complete rewrite..... Surprised about all the issues going on considering not much extra with it.

Clintmartin,
How,may I ask, did you find out about the updates to AD2?  I did not receive any email notification from XLN and I don't see any information on their web site talking about an update.  Does running the installer again just update the software or does the whole program have to be downloaded again?
Thanks,

I saw it over in the software forum. Go to your XLN Installer and it will scan and tell you the update is available. Just click update and you are done.
