Will the drivers for my FA66 be updated to work with Windows 10? Thanks

You'll have to ask Roland that one.  The Cakewalk interfaces from that time such as the FA-66 were re-branded Edirol units, which themselves were mostly re-branded Roland units.
If you find out, post here as I have the Edirol FA-66....

Hi Karyn,

No drivers for Windows 10 but the 64 bit driver for Windows 8/8.1 works perfectly. Loving Win 10 so far.

I've the cakewalk SPS 66 which I think is just a rebranded FA66.  It continued to work fine after upgrading to win 10.

That's good to know MackTheKnight, I also have the SPS-66 and intend to upgrade to win10 in the next few weeks . I'm sure you're correct about it being a re-branded FA-66. Are you using Windows 8 drivers in compatibility mode?

I'll have to check later tonight - Either Win 10 has built in drivers for it, or it just continued using the Win 8 drivers I'd installed previously.

I just did an upgrade from 8.1 - 10 and it worked without any tweaking...  Not sure if a clean install of Win 10, would have the same results.

Edit: Just checked, and the version I have working is the one dated 11/9/2012, so looks like the old win7/8 driver works in 10.

I did the upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 yesterday. Pretty painless. My SPS -66 didn't work straight off the bat so I tried the windows 8 drivers and they seem to work perfectly. X3 and all my plugins appear to be ok too. Well done Microsoft.

Working fine here, but the update on Wednesday messed up the drivers. I did a system restore and all was fine.

Has anybody noticed a significant lower latency with the FA66 in Sonar?  I didn't have a problem until around X3, but it was irritating.

This is very interesting (but long). Prinicpal MS Program Manager Pete Brown discusses many things, but he specifically mentions Roland & Steinberg taking a "wait & see" approach to 10.  He doesn't mention CW (because they did work with MS) but speaks extensively about where WDM is compared to ASIO.

Just went through this myself on a new Windows 10 install.

The Roland posted Cakewalk FA-66 drivers didn't appear to work.  I chose those because they had listed Windows 10.

I retried with the Cakewalk SPS-66 Windows 8 ones which worked without a problem.

Just mentioning in case anyone else goes down the same path.
