Sampling capability is not really a feature I expect from a streamlined drumpler product like AD. It would sort of be a waste unless you could do the proper sampling cuts and tweaks and that would require a whole new host of features which I don't believe most users would care about.
 
If you're into making your own samples, you should get the appropriate product like Battery 4.

There's a couple of multi mic Battery 3 Kits (Rock and Heavy Rock) that indicate the sort of work required to emulate AD and others.

The reverse is also true with AD. You can quickly modify a drum's sound but exporting that sound requires a sampler if you want to use it in another sequencer.
