Wouldn't this be nice? Sometimes it can be very handy to have more than one track visible/availalbe for eq sculpting... Especially with the spectrum analysis (which I hope gains some new features as well - more on that later). Great way to relate two track/tones for desired interweave...?

I'm gonna see if the request page has re-opened yet. Last time I went there it was done for update...

That would be very nice.
Let the pin button pin the EQ until you unpin it (is "unpin" a word?)

I agree, I suggest throwing it into Cakewalk problem reporter and identify it as a feature request
(feature requests have been disabled for a while now).

I would like an additional feature to (optionally) mouseover and it pops up myself.
Cheers..

Good thought Alex...

I just found the request page still down and realized that I had some other issues to post there and now I've already forgotten what they are... ;-)

But I would hate to bog down the developement with a lot of extra posts to this entryway...

Maybe one of The Bakers will step in and tell us if it's ok for us to do that for now?

Roger?

Are you saying that they do pin like that now and I didn't know or that they should? ;-)

Thanks...
Keni

Well they've categorised bugs as features with problem reporter before, so their workflow can apparently handle it. As the facility is not available so I can't see why not, otherwise I would not encourage it either...

I agree Cake needs to comment here...

Cheers

Great idea, Keni.  Throw a solo button on the flyout EQs, and you're there.

Yep the lack of solo buttons and multiple instances are my #1 gripes about the Quadcurve flyout. In fact they are the only gripes I have. It's the only EQ I own with a piano keyboard reference on it and I love it.

Well... is it worth making it sizable as well, dragging a corner?

and drag/copy too...to another EQ...like the older versions could

How long before somebody mentions duckbar... etc...

You can open 2 instances but its tricky. I'm not at the computer just now but as I recall: if you have the doc floated on a second monitor with the CV open you cane open one there and pin it. Then on the first monitor using the TV with the inspector open to the pro-channel you can open the fly out for a second track or bus there.

You can also open 2 in the CV but you have to be careful about the position left or right of center when you open the fly out so that one opens left and the other right of center.

I agree it would be a great advantage to improve it by allowing the fly out to float and be resized.
