I am operating Windows 7 64 bit. I have my operating system on my C drive which is a SSD and all my programs on my D drive, including Sonar 7.0. I just downloaded the home701patch.exe and tried to run it. but it gives me n error saying it cannot find the software. I tried copying it over to my D drive under downloads and even under the Sonar folder but still cannot get it to load. Can any of you please help me to solve this problem. This is a new i7 Core computer that I recently built.

You should upgrade to X3 it's only $ 99 for studio.

home701patch.exe   ??  What on earth is that? It certainly would not be a legal patch for Sonar 7 as Sonar 7 is long gone and not supported. 

 
Yeah, I don't know what that home701patch.exe is for, but the 7.01 patch for Sonar Producer 7 was named Producer701Patch.exe, so it sounds like you have the wrong patch file.

Steve you are a wizz at finding stuff, When I searched the Sonar site for home701 exe.. it only found this thread. I couldn't find any info or updates for Sonar 7 either.. Must be well hidden. 
 

For future reference, the easiest way I have found to look-up links like the ones above is using the "Support by product" link at the bottom of this page. Updates have been organized by product on that page for years.
