Where the interlude ends and the second verse begins, there seems to be some timing issue. I can't put my finger on where it is for sure, when I solo the drums they sound OK.  Also any general mix comments are welcome.  This will be on an EP set for release in may but this track is free.https://soundcloud.com/eric-thompson-6/komplicated

Much thanks.

I assume you're referring to the part at ~ 1:57.   Yep something in there doesn't sound as smooth as it should be.

The way I find those nits is to mute everything except the bass and drums, and see if they sound "smooth" together.  If so, start adding ONE TRACK at a time.... but don't leave them in.... as you move to the next track re-mute the other track.... You're looking for the one that causes the issue.   If that reveals nothing... you simply need to start adding tracks, leaving them in until the next one added shows the issue....

Since the track at that point in the song is minimal again... it should be an easy find. bass, drums, guitars....

Personally, I have heard issues that turned out to be the interplay between 2 perfectly good tracks.... in other words, no real glitch or mistake.... just a small incompatibility at a certain point that stuck out..... muting one track at that point generally worked OK for me in that situation.

BTW:  That song is rocking... excellent.

I think it might be the guitar panned hard left, just one stabbed chord at around 1:56 sounds a hair off. Apart from that I can't hear any anomalies.

Yeah, one of the guitars seems to come in a bit ahead of the beat. Tell people it's deliberate, to see if we're paying attention. Good rocking tune though, like early Green Day.

Thanks, I think I got it.  combination or surrounding things like next bass drum too early , that snare was a bit early... had to solo some things. First time I have used the song forums thanks!
