Not bad at all for a first project. Now, you need to start experimenting with EQ and compression to get everything to "gel" and make the instruments standout.

I really enjoyed this - very moody

That was quite pleasant, a few more posts and you will be able to insert links, it is to stop the spam.

For me the sax has a little to much reverb compared to the other instruments, but as Dan said a little more practice with the tools in X1 and you will be producing some nice music.
