A more-than-a-decade-long MIDI issue for those who use destructive MIDI editing mode. (Will this ever be fixed?)
The workaround is to insert a ghost event at the end of the clip, but doing so for every clip ending with a pitch bend event, modulation event, etc. is a pain...

[Steps to Reproduce the Issue]
1. Create a new project using the Normal project template.
2. Disable the Non-destructive MIDI editing mode (in Preferences > Customization > Editing).
3. Drag a soft synth (let's use SI-Bass) from the Browser into the blank area of the Track view Clips
pane, with associated tracks (audio+MIDI).
4. In Bar 2, record note events and pitch bend events, using the bender lever of your MIDI keyboard,
like this:

5. Copy the clip and paste it to Bar 4 and 6 (so that the clips don't overlap).
6. Rewind to Bar 1 and start playback.

[Expected Result]
All three clips sound the same.

[Actual Result]
The beginning of the third clip plays at a higher pitch.
If you open the Event List and examine the events in the clips, you realize that the pasted clips don't
contain the last pitch bend event (0). This is why the first note of the third clip sounds higher. If you drag
the right edge of the clip to the right, the pitch bend event (0) appears in the Event Inspector. Users
shouldn't have to do this manually.

Can't reproduce the steps here for some reason.
Following the steps I can only create two clips, yet you state three?

Thanks...

Hi Alex, notice that step #5 asks you to paste the copied clip to BOTH Bar 4 and Bar 6, which makes the total number of clips three (one original and two copies).
