  • What X3 Producer synth/patches should I try to get Moog-y type goodness? (p.8)

Your tagline line might be quite pertinent Bob ;).

Visions of Craig flicking through a stack of floppy disks.

No great shakes Craig - but nice to have.

Well that's embarrassing...let me check further. I thought I just zipped the folder that was in the original expansion pack materials I sent to Cakewalk, but it was pretty late and I was pretty tired. I'm heading off to Gibson now to invent some things, but will look into it tonight or tomorrow. Sorry about that...!!

The Moog Modular V by Arturia is the best sounding Moog virtual synth one can get.

So what do we need to do to get the correct LFO's that go with the tribute pack?

I found 'em! Actually it seems like they're the same ones I used for the Electronic Guitars expansion pack. I loaded up a couple songs that used Rapture with the custom LFOs, and now the songs sound like they're supposed to. Here's a download link that's good for 7 days:

https://www.hightail.com/download/ZUcyb2VETSt6NFBtcXRVag

The four LFOs are:

LfoWaveform030.wav
LfoWaveform031.wav
LfoWaveform032.wav
LfoWaveform033.wav

Sorry for the delay. Sending them to Cakewalk right now.

Thanks Craig. Got 'em with the Electronic Guitars - explains the successful walkthrough.
Again - cheers for your efforts, community presence and support.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about but I'm glad to see something of use to others came from this thread. Nice one, Craig.

Still haven't had a chance to dig around some of these suggestions yet but some of you may or may not be pleased to know I probably won't be dying in the next year... so that's good. ;-)

"Wont be dying in the next year?" One should hope not! I'm a lot older then you Beep and I don't plan on dying anytime soon either.

Nature can be a real jerk but nope... no intentions here if I can help it. I just have to go and have that confirmed on an annual basis so all the fancy medical dudes can carve me up like a turkey to try and prevent it.

I'm sure I'll be fine. Having to face my own mortality in such a way so young can only contribute to much more interesting music... so there's that. ;-p
