I hate to ask stupid questions, but, I have just upgraded to studio X3 and can't find my Guitar rig 4 or a way of putting it in. Mind you I can't remember how I got it into x2 but I did under Audio effects in the browser section. I can't seem to do that now and the Scan vst folders doesn't seem to find it. However I opened a project I had on the go in x2 into X3 and it played tracks with GR4, so it works but I still don't know where it is or how to get it!! Told you it was a stupid question!! Can anyone help.

Make sure it is in the scan path for Sonar VST plugins in X3.
 
Also, I believe you may need to do a reset and full re-scan of your plugins, now that you have added X3.

I went to preferences and there was a checked box, "hide related vst plugins" I unchecked that and GR4 appeared under audio effects. I can't see that doing that has affected anything else, hopefully! Thanks for your help.
